PERSONAL SUPPORT WITH EFT TAPPING
EFT Sessions in Melbourne & Online
An EFT session is a one-to-one conversation in which we use Emotional Freedom Techniques—commonly called tapping—to work with an issue that matters to you.
We begin by clarifying what you would like support with and what you hope will be different. As we work, you tap gently on acupressure points while paying attention to relevant thoughts, emotions, memories or body sensations. I guide the process and adapt it to what emerges.
Sessions are collaborative and individually paced. You remain in control of what you share, and you can pause, ask questions or decline any part of the process. Appointments are available in Melbourne and online.
Bring the issue you would like help with. You do not need to know the “right” words or have prior experience with tapping—we begin wherever you are.
What happens in an EFT session?
Most sessions begin with a brief intake conversation. We clarify the concern you would like to address, what is happening now and what you would like to change. The focus may be a recent event, a recurring reaction, a difficult memory, a belief, an emotion or a physical sensation connected with stress.
You do not need to prepare a script or explain everything perfectly. The practitioner’s role is to listen, ask useful questions and help identify a specific starting point.
A collaborative, individually paced process
During the tapping itself, you usually tap on your own acupressure points while the practitioner guides the process. Attention is given to the issue in manageable pieces rather than forcing a person to relive an experience all at once.
Your responses guide the session. The focus may change as emotions, thoughts, memories or body sensations shift. You remain free to pause, slow down, ask questions or decide that you do not want to explore a particular detail.

What can people bring to an EFT session?
People seek EFT support for many reasons, including stress, anxious feelings, emotional overwhelm, fears and phobias, difficult memories, grief, confidence, performance pressure, recurring relationship patterns and the emotional aspects of persistent physical symptoms.
An EFT practitioner does not need to diagnose you in order to work with your experience. If your needs fall outside the practitioner’s competence, responsible practice includes discussing other forms of support or referral to an appropriately qualified health professional.
Online and in-person EFT sessions
The same core EFT process can be used in person or by video call. In an online session, you tap on yourself while following the practitioner’s guidance. A private setting, reliable connection and freedom from interruption help you take part comfortably.
In-person sessions offer the same collaborative structure in a shared room. Whichever format you choose, it is useful to have a little time afterwards before moving immediately into another demanding activity.
How does a session finish?
Towards the end, we review what has changed and notice what still feels important. A careful close gives you time to absorb the work rather than opening a new issue just as the appointment ends. Where appropriate, we may discuss a simple way to continue supporting yourself between sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no honest universal answer. The number of sessions depends on the issue, its complexity, your goals and how you respond. Some research protocols have used a defined series of sessions, but those study schedules are not a promise about an individual result. We can review progress together without asking you to commit to an open-ended process.

Privacy, choice and professional boundaries
Ethical EFT practice is based on informed choice, clear boundaries and respect. You should know the fee and cancellation arrangements before beginning, understand the limits of confidentiality and be able to decline any procedure. A practitioner should work within their competence and should not advise you to stop medication or disregard medical care.
Is an EFT session right for me?
A short discovery conversation can help you decide whether EFT and the practitioner’s approach feel suitable. EFT sessions are not emergency or crisis services. Urgent mental-health concerns, immediate danger or symptoms requiring medical assessment should be directed to an appropriately qualified service.
Would You Like to Explore EFT?
If you are curious about whether EFT may be a good fit, you can book a short discovery call or an EFT session. We can discuss what you would like support with and answer any questions before you decide.
